About me
Helgard Truter (Snr) a senior financial advisor from Sleewijk Bluestar is a registered representative contracted by Sanlam. Helgard recently celebrated an incredible milestone of 61 years of service and is the only member of the Club 60 at Sanlam. He also boasts with 49 IQA (International Quality Awards) Helgard started his career at Sanlam on the 14th of February 1961. In 1988 he was the 12th recipient of the Sanlam Adelaar Top Achiever award, and he received the 1-star Adelaar Award in 2011 – at that time the only 1-star Adelaar in the Free State and Northern Cape. This is one of the highest awards given at Sanlam to an intermediary. Helgard is authorised to give advice and provide intermediary services on life and risk insurance, pension benefits and retirement, as well as collective investments, but his passion and main focus lies in investments.
