Things I Like to Do I am a very balanced person and enjoy the outdoors. I love fishing and hunting, as well as travelling. As a sport fanatic, I’m naturally a competitive and goal-driven person and earned provincial colours as an able-bodied athlete in rugby and athletics for N-Tvl. After a motor vehicle accident left me a T7/T8 incomplete paraplegic, I turned to disabled sport. I earned provincial colours in wheelchair rugby for NW, bank angling fishing colours for Gauteng North, and made the SAVOF national team. I also earned my national Protea colours as a wheelchair darts player, winning three national singles titles and three international titles, including an African ParaDarts Open title. Darts allowed me to travel the world, and I represented South Africa at three World Cups and two World Masters & World Championships, in destinations such as Egypt, Germany, England, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
