I matriculated in 1983 and went on to study for a BCom (Honours) in Marketing at the University of Pretoria. My career has included international experience as a Trade Representative in Santiago, Chile, where I served for four years, gaining valuable expertise in international trade and business relations. As a passionate athlete, I achieved remarkable success in middle-distance running, becoming the Chilean 3000m Steeplechase Champion for three consecutive years. My dedication to athletics continued throughout my life, earning me South African Masters Athletics Colours in Athletics in 2013. Committed to developing young talent, I also served as a middle-distance coach at Afrikaanse Hoër Meisieskool for three years, mentoring and inspiring aspiring athletes. My diverse background combines academic achievement, international business experience, competitive athletic excellence, and coaching leadership, reflecting a lifelong commitment to performance, discipline, and personal development. I am a dedicated Financial Adviser who strives to provide sound financial advice and professional service to my clients. I am passionate about helping people make informed financial decisions, recognising that quality advice can have a profound and lasting impact on their financial future and overall well-being. Outside of my professional and sporting pursuits, I enjoy travelling abroad, spending quality time with my wife, two children and two grandchildren, and maintaining an active social life that includes a love for dancing over weekends. I am an avid sports fan, particularly of rugby and athletics, and enjoy reading biographies of influential people and keeping abreast of developments in social media platforms. I believe that success is built on discipline, continuous learning, meaningful relationships and helping others achieve their goals, whether in finance, sport or life.
